Our cover this issue, "Celebration" is by self-taught artist Rita Loyd. "Inspiration to paint spirit nurturing art came to me during a long chronic illness. As my life slowly narrowed around me from lack of physical strength and panic attacks, my ego had no other choice than to step aside, and allow the voice of my spirit to emerge and comfort me through my artwork. After painting is completed it then becomes a reminder of my truth and a tool for empowering visualization."
