Our cover this issue, "The Patient Angel," is by Sharon Yamamoto. Born in Chicago in 1948, Yamamoto attended the Art Institute of Chicago Junior School and later the Illinois Wesleyan University as a scholarship student. She graduated in 1969, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Summa Cum Laude, moved to London, England, married and raised a family. Her award-winning work is in many public and private collections around the world.
